Tame & Wild are recruiting for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join a small animal practice in Scunthorpe on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced Head Nurse looking for a new challenge. You will be joining a busy 24 hour practice with 3 consult rooms, 1 double surgical theatre, dental suite, digital x-ray room, prep area, separated dog and cat isolation rooms.
The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as assisting with training student nurses through clinical coaching. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.
The salary for this position is up to £27,573 per annum, dependent on experience.
Hours;
40 Hours per week
Mixture of 8 hour shifts
1 in 3 weekends
Fair share of on call and bank holiday rota

Requirements;
Candidates MUST be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and have the relevant visas, if required.
You must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse on the RCVS Register. 3rd year Student Veterinary Nurses may be considered if they are due to qualify within a few months.
